Hydraulic characteristics are crucial for the performance of products such as drainage composites, geospacers, geotextiles and of course all geosynthetic barriers. At TRI Europe we are prepared to measure all essential hydraulic parameters. The equipment supporting the hydraulic properties testing:

  • a state-of-the-art in-plane flow apparatus with full perimeter seal and 500 kPa load capacity
  • two types of permeability apparatus’ allowing for both constant head and falling head measurements of permeability normal the plane
  • 12 station flexible-wall permeameters for measurement of water flux and permeability of geosynthetic clay liners
  • a full assembly of water treatment units, including softeners and de-airing units
