Welcome to TRI Europe

Independent geosynthetics
laboratory

TRI Europe is a geosynthetics laboratory providing wide range of services from testing to consulting.

Deep understanding of geosynthetic products is the center of our interests. We keep up to date with pertinent European regulations.

Our strengths

include high quality of services, quick response time and deep understanding of geosynthetic products and pertinent European regulations. We specialize in customized services and consultancy to manufacturers at early stage of product development. This includes product development and initial marking for CE marking.

Our clients

include manufacturers, contractors and engineers from the transportation, environmental, infrastructure, oil and gas, water and mining industries. We provide independent, third-party testing services to producers, contractors, engineers, governmental agencies and regulators.

We test

geotextiles, geogrids, geomembrane, high-strength reinforcements, GCLs, geocomposites and other geosynthetic materials.

Team

The personnel at TRI Europe are a collective of testing enthusiasts dedicated to providing best service to the geosynthetics industry.

The strength of our European team is based on:
  • Engineering background – good comprehension of the purpose and applicability of test results
  • Deep understanding of geosynthetics products, resulting from decades of experience
  • Knowledge of pertinent European regulations.
  • Our leaders are involved in international standardization and non-profit organizations giving a lot of the investment back to the industry.

Our core people:

Jakub Bryk

Jakub Bryk serves as the Director of TRI Europe. He holds a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering and more than 20 years of experience in practical use of geosynthetics. Before moving to testing Jakub has worked as site engineer and geotechnical design engineer on numerous multinational projects. He is actively involved in standardization and the International Geosynthetics Society. Jakub is managing a testing laboratory since 2016. 

Aleksandra Zoltowska

Aleksandra Zoltowska serves as TRI’s customer service manager and office administrator. She has almost 20 years of experience in account management and 8 years of laboratory experience. Aleksandra is responsible for most of our reporting and invoicing. She is often the first point of contact at TRI Europe.
